Our Story

Four Decades of Growth

From a small trading outfit to a Pan-India name in non-ferrous metal recycling — here's how our journey unfolded.

1979

The Beginning

We started out as Sunrise Metal, from a modest 2,500 sq. ft. facility, we handled 80–100 tonnes of scrap every month while building long-term relationships across the industry.

2000

Expansion into Manufacturing

We expanded beyond trading and launched two new ventures — Shree Ram Foundry and Shree Shyam Foundry — dedicated to manufacturing brass sand casting rods.

2002

A New Identity

Sunrise Metal was rebranded as Metal Scrap India, reflecting our growing presence and long-term vision within the non-ferrous metal industry.

2008

Launch of Manglam Metals

We set up Manglam Metals, a dedicated brass extrusion manufacturing plant spanning 12,000 sq. ft. with a production capacity of 80 tons per month.

2019

Expanding Our Operations

Metal Scrap India moved into a larger 24,000 sq. ft. facility, scaling our handling capacity up to 140 tons per month.
