6 Bronze Scrap Grades

Specialty and exotic metal scrap requires expert identification, careful segregation, and proper documentation. Each alloy below is handled separately — cross-contamination would significantly reduce value. We ensure proper grade verification before every transaction.

Bronze Scrap
Also known as: Ni Alloy / 200 Series Scrap
Ni 99%+

Nickel scrap includes pure nickel sheet, rod, and anode scrap from electroplating and chemical industries, plus nickel-base alloy scrap from aerospace and chemical processing. Highly valued due to nickel's critical role in stainless steel and superalloy production.

Typical Composition
Nickel (Ni) 99%
Iron (Fe) 0.5%
Other 0.5%
Common Applications
Stainless steel productionNickel alloysElectroplating anodesSuperalloysBattery cathodes
Gun Metal Bronze Scrap
Also known as: SS 304 / SS 316 Scrap
Ni 8–12%, Cr 16–22%

Stainless steel scrap from industrial equipment, kitchen fixtures, and process plant. The two most common grades are 304 (18% Cr, 8% Ni) and 316 (16% Cr, 10% Ni, 2% Mo). Must be sorted by grade to maintain alloy integrity.

Typical Composition
Iron (Fe) 68–74%
Chromium (Cr) 18%
Nickel (Ni) 8–10%
Molybdenum (Mo) 2%
Common Applications
New stainless steel productionChemical plant equipmentFood processing equipmentMedical instruments
Aluminium Bronze Scrap
Also known as: AB Grade 1/2 / AB Local (Chalu)
Ti 99%+

Titanium scrap comes from aerospace machining, medical device manufacturing, and chemical plant. It is extremely lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and has a very high strength-to-weight ratio. Scrap commands a significant premium due to the energy-intensive primary production process.

Typical Composition
Titanium (Ti) 99.5%
Iron (Fe) 0.3%
Other 0.2%
Common Applications
Aerospace componentsMedical implantsChemical processingMarine hardwareSports equipment
High-Tensile Brass Scrap
Also known as: Manganese Bronze | C86100 (HTB1), C86200 (HTB2), C86300 (HTB3), C67500
Sn 60–99%

Tin scrap includes clean tin from tinplate cans, solder from electronics, and tin-lead alloy scrap from plumbing and electronics. Pure tin is increasingly valuable as lead-free solders demand high-purity tin. We handle both low and high-purity tin grades.

Typical Composition
Tin (Sn) 95%
Lead (Pb) 3%
Antimony (Sb) 1.5%
Other 0.5%
Common Applications

Cupronickel Scrap
Also known as: Cu-Ni Alloy
Ni 63–70%

Monel is a nickel-copper alloy prized for its exceptional resistance to seawater, acids, and alkalis. Scrap comes from marine, chemical, and petroleum processing equipment. Monel scrap is specialty — always segregated and sold at a significant premium.

Typical Composition
Nickel (Ni) 66%
Copper (Cu) 31%
Iron (Fe) 2%
Manganese (Mn) 1%
Common Applications

Brass-Nickel Alloy Scrap
Also known as: Nickel Silver / German Silver
Cu 60–65%, Ni 18–20%

Nickel Silver (German Silver) is a copper-nickel-zinc alloy — it contains no actual silver but has a silver-like appearance. Used in cutlery, musical instruments, coins, and decorative hardware. The nickel addition gives excellent corrosion resistance and bright surface.

Typical Composition
Copper (Cu) 63%
Zinc (Zn) 18%
Nickel (Ni) 18%
